Standby Players?

I heard that registrations are to be left open to allow "standby" players to join.
What a terrible idea, it makes the draft a total waste of time.

o yeah, um, one of my players is inactive, i would like to take an S.Tanny to replace him please



what rubbish. If players leave then they shouldnt have joined and their team should fail rather than be rewarded by getting new and possibly better players that distorts the competition.

-And This is not a completely terrible idea, because like your own personal experience people tend to go inactive / back out of events all the time. But, on the other hand like you mentioned it could greatly effect the competition that goes on between that teams.

Random players are assigned to avoid this reason.

Obviously you cant take a complete hard line if their ends up being lots of inactive people.
I dont think new players should not be assigned if the team is capable of carrying on without them. Teams should perhaps only get replacement players when the roster is down to 6.

I think the reason a player goes inactive should be found and not allow them to rejoin if the reason is rubbish.

Larry-S's(my first round draft pick btw) wii got taken away by his parents in order for him to get out more, that's not his problem, and I got Tiger in return as a random draft pick. Stupid, but yes it gets the job done apparently, even though my team is mad for not letting me pick since we lost our 1st round pick.
